WORTH £40! How To: Grow Food on Your Windowsill Workshop
Meet in the Greenhouse at the Farm Garden. Join this workshop to learn some techniques for growing your own food from home - even from your student bedroom! Each place on this workshop is usually worth £40 - but you can come for free thanks to a little ECL funding!

About the event
Open to all UCL staff or students.
There are a whole host of amazing vegetables you can grow on your windowsill, herbs, salads, kale, edible flowers and much more. Find out how to sow seeds and take cuttings as well as how to look after your plants and harvest your crops. This is a practical workshop and you will be able to take away plant pots at the end of the session). No Experience needed.
After the Worksop, you will be able to spend some time at the Farm Garden conducting practical tasks, such as watering, feeding plants, weeding, potting up rootbound plant pots, planting wildflowers, etc followed by a free lunch at the farm cafe. We only have 10 funded places at this workshop (worth £40!) so please RSVP if you would like to come and let us know if you can no longer make it so we can offer the place to someone else!
